A dream for many of us is to buy a lot in Mexico, near the beach, with warm weather all year round, and have the home of our dreams designed and built exactly as we want it! Mexico real estate offers land in many price ranges, sizes and locations for just about any use. The following are 3 examples of residential lots you can get for $100,000 USD.

Lot #1 - Costa Maya, Yucatan Peninsula, 5 hours south of Cancun

Size: 900 m2 (9688 sq. ft) - 18 m x 50 m deep

Location: Beachfront, 5 miles north of the village of Xcalak

This beachfront lot is directly on the beachfront, and is fully cleared and ready for construction, and it has a good elevation for building. The back of the lot has direct access to the beach road, combining convenience with privacy. The reef is about 100 yards from the beach, and it's excellent for snorkeling. There is also a channel in the reef, allowing boats to pass, if you choose to own one.

Lot #2 – Akumal, Yucatan Peninsula, 1 hour 15 minutes south of Cancun

Size: 1980 m2 (21,313 sq. ft.) - 33 m x 66 m deep

Location: Just outside of Akumal village, a few minutes from the beach

This huge lot is currently in the jungle, but is located in the middle of the Akumal's new development area. There are 16 lots in the development and the zoning laws allow for subdivision of the lots for resale or development. It could also be just a wonderfully large lot with your beautiful home on it!

Lot #3 – Puerto Vallarta, Pacific Coast

Size: 438 m2 (4715 sq. ft.)

Location: New residential community – many nearby services

While this lot is smaller than the others, the location makes up for the size; it is in a new community, with many nearby services. The gate community is called Flamingos Vallarta, which includes large, beautiful green areas, a brand new sports complex, tennis courts, a swimming pool, and a fitness center. This lot is flat and ready for building.
